My Maths Reflection Term 4

This term I learnt Measurement, Statistics, Fractions, Decimal and Geometry. I have improve a lot because of IXL, IXL helped me a lot because they had a lot of different types of different Decimals and Geometry Activities. I have mastered 4 Skill's, Answered  1,403 question and practiced for 6 hours and 17 minutes.
I really want too improve more then what I have done for my IXL so next year I want to Achieve more goals and do more Challenging Test.  I am proud of my Pre/Post and maths. I am really looking forward to getting my Pre/Post all right!

iDrive

This week for my iDrive I did Cup Challenge. What we did for Cup Challenge was first we needed to hold strings and there were supposed to be four people on each side holding the strings, but there were five people so one person had to miss out on each round. The five people were Daniel, Lara, Alyson, Emma and myself. So we started out practising with a simple track on the whiteboard. The aim of the game is that the cup has to stay on the line and you have to use the strings to navigate it. You have to work as a team, like calling out who pulls and who doesn't. After we finished the practise we drew more obstacles, but the trickiest part is that one of us had to be blindfolded, The best part was we had turns being blindfolded and it was tricky to tell people to pull and stuff but it was worth it because we believed we could do it cause we worked as a team.

I Drive

Today for this iDrive block I have been doing Lego Building and the people I was working with was Miles, Fraser and Callum. What we did was think in our mind about what things we should create then give the ideas to each other so we would know what we were doing. 

What we were going to build was called a Radiation Field. Fraser Built a Transport bot and a Field. Callum built a Fan boat and a Steerable Bull Dozer. Miles Built a Speed Boat and I built a Big Ship that had Electricity in the tank and a Speed Vehicle.

Student Conference Reflection

This week we did student conference and for breakout one I chose Technology challenge so we started off inside the room with a teacher giving us instructions for what we had to do. What we had to do was get 1 marshmallow, 20 spaghetti sticks, 1 long string and 1 long sticky tape then we had to build the tallest tower and the winner got to get Fredo frogs which was chocolate. So first we needed to get into a group, my group was Kurt and Haley the other group was Callum, Daniel, charlie and Neo and the other one was Ryan, Luke, Nathan and Joshua.

First we started off making the tape double sided so we cant stick it on the bottom and the top would have the spaghetti on the top so we can make it stick. Then we stick the 2 spaghetti sticks and tape it  and then we kept doing that then it was unbalanced and the same as the other teams. Then the team CC Which had Callum.Daniel,Charlie and Neo was in it.

For the second breakout I choosed Cool apps to share for learning. First we got shared a Doc, the first App was Duolingo what you do on Duolingo was learn languages. The second app was Emaze for Emaze you could create amazing presentations, Then we had break after the 2 presentations. What we did for break was playing Wink Murderer after that we did 2 more apps which was Movenote and School note. MoveNote is something for recording what ever you want either its for your work or a video. Next is School note, School note is good to play around with.

For the third breakout I chose Coding and programming.  For that we learned how to program like put music,looks,events,sound and other amazing stuff. Well first we learned how to move our character then next we learned how to put music on when your character is moving and put on a pet or other characters then next we learned to customize our character then for last we had to do a drawing that looked 3D.

At last I chose Science, why? Because I like to learn new things. So first we had to get into a group that is equaled then the teacher had to explain what we had to do. What we needed was 1 copper wire 1 battery 1 paper clip and one long nail. So my group was Callum,Joshua,Hamish and I, what we had to do was figure out how to make the paper clip stick to the copper wire without using your hand to put the paper clip and wire together otherwise that would be cheating.

So first we put the b
attery on the ground then we tried to tie the nail to the wire then we were confused. But the teacher came and gave us advice for us. The advice was to wrap the copper wire around the nail and the wire has to be close to each other when your wrapping it
then the teacher gave us other advice but not really a advice just showing us and telling us about the battery.
Then we figured it out all we had to do was put the battery on top of the wire then the other side of the wire which is wrapped to the nail had to touch the paper clip then we did it we solve it! after that we finished but we learned how to magnet the nail to the paper clip, it was because the nail and wire still had magnetic on it.

Princess Diana

Princess Diana was the princess of Wale's and was born on the 1st of July in 1961 and had children's named Prince William Duke of Cambridge and Prince harry. Princess Diana used to be Lady Diana before she got married and Princess Diana's Father was John Spencer and her mother was Frances Shand Kydd.

Princess Diana Died in Paris on the 31st of August 1997 in a car crash  Princess Diana was the fourth child and third daughter of John Spencer.  Diana grew up in a place called park house which was on the Queens Sandringham and was educated in England and switzerland.

 In 1975 she was called Lady Diana Spencer after her father chose his title as Earl Spencer. 
Diana and Charles Married on the 29 of July in 1981 it was at the St Paul's Cathedral and 750 million people watch it on TV because some people couldn't go

Fault Lines

A Fault line is a line that is on the ground surface or a line that is tracing a Fault.So that means the fault line is tracing through the world so there is two plates that meet up with each other and causes the world to create a earthquake.There are two plates like example Australian Plate is on the first side and indian plate is on the other side of the fault line. There are seven plates on each sides and if they meet each other there would be fault lines around the whole world.

A Visit From Jack and Graham

Today Jack and Graham came to visit us and told us two frogs their names were Archey Frogs and Hochstetter Frog then I askd Graham some questions.

How do we create a Gecko house?  Answer: need some wood which is by 25 mm and has to be non treated wood. need a piece of glass for the front so we can see the geckos. You need some netting and needs to be very small for the geckos to go in. then you needs some screws and nails.Something suitable for old roofing iron or a flat piece of wood.need some sticks and branches to go inside for the geckos to hide under.

How big do we need the Shelter,Trap,Hotel to be? Answer: We can attract with any materials

What Tools do we need? Answer:Hammer,Battery drill and drill bits. Hand Saw, Tape Measure. Staple Gun,

What kind of food do we need to feed the Geckos, Insects,Fruit Flies,Rotten Apple Jar So the fruit flies lay the eggs and keep hatching out.Catch Blow Flies and Houseflies. Honey Water.

I Drive

This Term 3 I have done I Drive Street and I picked Carpentry which was like building something for the school,We got to go into a group and work as a team.My group was called #Team Budgie Care, so first we started making a stand and started hammering the pieces to the stand and next we painted the budgie stand Metallic gold.The next step was making accessories. The accessories was to make a small platform to put into the budgie cage for the budgies to stand on but unfortunately it didn't work which was a bummer.So instead we just left the budgie cage with the stand.

Holiday Reccount

In the holidays I
played minecraft and roblox,on mincraft we built a 4 story houses,on roblox we built a big mechanic and fighted people with it.

But the best part was going to the Cinema at Botany because we watched the Minions!! the part I like was when Kevin kissed his brothers but one got stuck into his mouth then he took his brother out of his mouth and his brother said Ewwwww.

Then we had two Birthday on the first birthday was my cousin Jade we went to jump! it was fun until I got tired,after that we went to eat at a restaurant but we bought Pizza for the all the kids including me,after that we had cake the flavour was taro then we went home.

Two days after Jades Birthday was Felix's we went to Paradice Ice Skateing to play then went to Jades house to eat but we didnt have a cake instead we had a Ice cream cake it was cookies and cream I didn't like it so I didn't eat it then when we went home Felix gave me a hug and said bye to everyone else in the party.

History about Queens Birthday

Life is short but you still can learn

Life is short so don't be stupid, be yourself.Don't let people stop you from learning. Follow your heart if you fall off a cliff trust your friends so they can save you. Keep your mum and dad in your heart and follow your path, you will learn many stuff everyday.Copying people will make your learning worse and follow your path of being a special person.

Sole

Yesterday we did an investigation about 4 main ideas. People could choose one of the ideas we had to choose I chose what would happen if computers disappeared. Then we had a group, they were Noah and Daniel. We started a brainstorm then we went onto the website to check what happen if computers disappeared. Then we were done then all my classmates showed their investigation they did a interview about their idea then we gave some feedback. Me and my group went last, I was a bit shy but I stood up and had a go I am really proud of myself.

Writing

Today my group and I wrote a story of a tractor and we had to make a crazy idea what happened to the tractor. I've been doing a brain storm and started my writing. In the story it had giant holes in the field and then I became friends with a giant mole. I hope my story becomes a unique master piece.

Celebration Time

I am very proud of my self because I have finish everything else. Like maths reading and writing and now I will go to celebration today. So I hope everyone gets to go to Celebration so we can have lots of fun. That is why I'm proud.

Mascots in war

The mascots were in war because they could help people with supplies and for the mascots to remember them as their family. Some of the mascots didn't survive. Some of the animals were Dogs,Cats,Home pigeon,Goats,Horses,Donkeys and Monkeys.
The homing pigeons sent messages to other soldiers and donkeys, horses and goats carried huge supplies.
Dogs sniffed out wounded soldiers. Cats were used to keep rats away from the trenches.

Staying back school from Camp

Today at school was pretty boring because I couldn't go to camp.So when I'm a year seven I can go to camp at camp is really fun you get to do activity's like swimming but today is really different because all my class mate has finally come back to school :D YAY! at the afternoon I will meet them but I hope they tell me all about the things they have done at totara spring camp.

Maths

Today I am proud of my self because I was in the Crazy chickens group for maths before and now I have move up into the Gonzo group. The work is pretty challenging but I can manage to do it. The work is great for me because I need some challenging work. But these question's are in a book.
Now I think the Gonzos group is suited for me to work on.

Writing Sample

Me and my class have been doing a writing sample its like a narrative writing, at first I was stuck with my brain storm and then I got use to it. I'm proud of my self because I put in details into my writing  I even finished it in time by morning tea.That is why I'm really proud of my self! Here's a story about it

Dinosaur Age

One morning I went to the ocean I saw waves coming but that didn’t bother me.So I went

swimming but then some sharks came they chase me I had no choice I had to swim as fast as i could but then found some ruins I went there but then.I fell down a hole and some how I feel like I went through a dimensional portal but then it was true I did fall down a portaI.I was knocked out so I woke up and heard a roaring sound I said to me self is this the dinosaur age?.But i was right i saw dinosaurs fighting each other so i ran and then i found cavemens I didn’t understand them at first.But i got use to understanding them so i talked to them and said do you wanna come help me find an ancient ruin they said yes they love to.So there we went traveling around the dinosaur age we fought dinosaurs some were tough and some were easy.But there i found two ruins one was a dimensional portal to the human world and one was an ancient treasure I did wanna stay  with the cavemen but i couldn’t so i said bye and took the treasure with me. But then the portal broke before i went in oh no now i’m gonna be in big trouble all well ill stay but a T.rex was behind me and i said run!!!! AHHHHH its gonna eat us!!! we cant beat this one mens run back home!!. There we was at the cavemen hut but the T.Rex was still following us he was trying to break the hut until he eats his prey this isn't good for us at all.So i said separate and find a good place to hide if theres a dinosaur fight it like i taught you so be careful mens so we separated and head out to look for a safe place it wasn’t safe because the mens nearly got eaten and i was ulucky because i had the T.rex following me.I found a great hide out its good the T.rex wasnt following me the only survivor was me and three cavemens so it was up to us to defeat the T.rex we found out he was the king of the dinosaurs so we fought him it was really tough but there we deafeated him it felt like i was disapearing but i knew why i was disapearing it was because I didn’t belong in the dinosaur age.So there i was home sweet home.

Celebration

Today I am really proud of my self because I am on track. I have finished all my work, Last week I went to oh dear because I didn't finish all my work but this week I have done all my work so that's why I'm really proud of my self.
