Weekly News about Mr Key and Mr Cunliffe to leave Parliament!

The Former Prime Minister John Key and the Labour MP David Cunliffe struck a deal to both leave the Parliament early.

There has been an announcement that a by-election will not be needed as they are leaving very close to the general election. Last week John Key said he would give his final speech to the Parliament next week before he resigns as MP and take effect on 14th of April. John Key hasn't announce what he planned to do after he leave Parliament. David Cunliffe who led Labour in the 2014 election. He would also leave in April so he could take a job with management consultancy firm. Acting as Prime Minister, Paula Bennett says that the deal for John Key and David Cunliffe to leave at the same time was a decision they agreed between themselves.
